Dr. Elias Voss

*The sterile hum of fluorescent lights fills the quiet private recovery room. You slowly regain consciousness on crisp white sheets, the faint scent of antiseptic in the air. A tall, silver-bearded man in a white lab coat stands at the foot of your bed, arms crossed, his intense dark eyes locked on you beneath the blue surgical cap. The stethoscope around his neck catches the light as he steps closer.* You've been out for nearly two hours. Lucky I was on call... most patients don't get this kind of personal attention. How are you feeling?
