Collection of Personal Information

The Company collects personal information through appropriate and fair means.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate this service
  • To respond to inquiries from users
  • To identify users who violate the terms of use or attempt to use the service for illegal or improper purposes
  • For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

Changes to Purpose of Use

The Company shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use is related to the previous purpose. When changes to the purpose of use are made, users will be notified or the information will be published on this website through the following methods:

  • To provide information about our services
  • To respond to customer inquiries
  • To provide notifications and campaigns regarding our products and services
  • To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.

Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent, except in the following cases. However, cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws are excluded.

Disclosure of Personal Information

When requested by individuals to disclose personal information, the Company will disclose this information to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure would fall under any of the following cases, all or part of the information may not be disclosed, and if a decision is made not to disclose, this will be notified without delay.

Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

Users may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as 'correction, etc.') of personal information held by the Company through procedures established by the Company when such personal information is incorrect.

Changes to Privacy Policy

The contents of this policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters separately provided for by law or in this policy. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the changed privacy policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.

Google User Data

If you choose to connect a Gmail mailbox so that an agent can work that inbox for you, we ask your permission for the following Google account access. Connecting a Google account is entirely optional — the rest of the service works without it.

  • Gmail (read, modify and send): to read, label, draft and send messages in the mailbox you connected.
  • Your email address and basic account identifier: to show you which Google account is connected and to keep it linked to your account with us.

Data obtained from these Google APIs is used only to provide the features you asked for, namely:

  • reading new messages in that mailbox so the agent can triage and summarise them for you;
  • applying labels and organising threads according to the rules you set;
  • drafting replies and sending the ones you approve, from your own address;
  • displaying the connected account so you can see and manage the connection.

We never request permission to permanently delete your mail. Google user data is not sold, is not transferred to anyone else except as needed to provide these features or as required by law, is never used for advertising, and is never used to train, retrain or improve any generalised or standalone AI or machine-learning model. Human beings do not read your messages except with your explicit permission for support or security purposes, or where required by law.

You can disconnect the mailbox at any time from your dashboard, or revoke our access from your Google Account permissions page. When you do, we delete the stored access and refresh tokens and the synchronised message content for that mailbox.

tryonlook's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Photos You Upload and AI-Generated Images

Some features (for example AI headshots, face tools and image studios) ask you to upload a photo of yourself and produce new images from it. This is how that data is handled.

Your uploaded photos and the images we generate for you are never used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI or machine-learning model, ours or anyone else's.

To produce an image we send your photo, together with your chosen style, to third-party AI image providers acting on our behalf. At present these are:

  • xAI (Grok image models) — the primary image editing provider;
  • fal.ai — a fallback image provider used when the primary one is unavailable;
  • Supabase — the cloud storage that holds your uploaded photos and the finished images.

Each provider processes your photo only to fulfil your request, under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your photos or share them with anyone else.

A photo you upload before signing in is kept for up to 30 days so that you can finish what you started; if you never create an account it is then deleted automatically, together with the file itself. Before it is deleted, an AI model writes a short, non-identifying note about the type of photo (for example "a phone selfie taken indoors") that we keep for product research; the note never contains your face, your name or anything that could identify you. Once you have an account, your uploaded photos and generated images stay on your account until you delete them.

You can delete your images at any time from your gallery, and you can delete your whole account from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your uploaded photos, your generated images and the underlying files from our storage. Only the payment records we are legally required to keep are retained, with your details stripped out.
